Doing the Detox

When starting anything new you must first set realistic timed goals for yourself, which is exactly what I sought to do through this blog. I first checked my average screen time which turned out be an average of 4 and half hours a day, so within 2 weeks I sought to drop my screentime by an hour. I tried using an app called forest, which led me to the conclusion that I should use my time on beneficial activites. I tried praticing guitar for an extra hour (I usually practice for 1 hour), which brought some success my mind was brought away from my phone. Overall, I would recommend putting on Do Not Disturb mode for a while each day so the temptation to check your phone will lighten and use your new free time to excercise or meditate.
